Bus Tourist Craze
No data is collected
Bus Tourist Craze does not collect or share any personal information. There is no server of ours for your data to be sent to, and we cannot see anything you do in the game.
What the app stores, and where
The game saves your progress through each journey, your settings, and whether you have seen the opening briefing, using the operating system's standard app storage on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress (which legs you have cleared, and where you were) is also kept in your own iCloud account, using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so that it comes back if you reinstall the game or move to a new device. That copy lives in your iCloud, under your Apple ID; we have no access to it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, progress stays on the device only. Settings are never copied to iCloud.
On Android, if backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android includes the game's progress and settings in your phone's own Google backup, so that they come back if you reinstall the game from Google Play or set up a new phone. Android usually makes this backup about once a day. That copy is part of your Google account's device backup; we have no access to it. Nothing else the app stores is included.
When you tap the share button, the game writes a share card image into its own temporary storage so that your phone can hand it to the share sheet. That image stays on your device unless you choose to send it somewhere, in which case it goes only where you send it.
What the app does not do
- No analytics or usage measurement.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking, and no data shared with any third party.
- No accounts, sign-in, or email collection.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
- No purchases of any kind.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it has stored on the device. To remove the iCloud copy of your progress as well, use Reset progress in the game's settings before deleting it, or turn off the app in iCloud settings on your device. On Android, Reset progress clears the backup copy at Android's next backup, and you can delete the backup itself in your phone's Google backup settings. We hold nothing, so there is nothing further to request or erase.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes what it stores or transmits, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date below will change.
